Bruce just blinked at her as she poked him with chopsticks, like some kind of low rent grenade about to go off...And it was such a Kenzi thing to do that he laughed.

And for the first time in years, he didn't hold back. He laughed long, loud, and hard.

And it felt damn good.

Moving over to her, Bruce wrapped Kenzi up in a big bear hug, just holding on as his laughter faded to something quieter, a deep, gentle chuckle as he just held onto her.

"I haven't laughed like that in forever." He admitted quietly. "He's gone, and I can laugh again, Kenzi..."
